Former Bachelor star Ashley Spivey has been sharing some significant life events with her fans. After overcoming a miscarriage, she was open with fans about the difficulties following the event.
Now, she's sharing news that she's pregnant again, and she's sharing ultrasound photos with friends!
Ashley Spivey honored the memory of her son in a touching Instagram post she shared on Feb 1.
“Instead of bringing our boy home today, we brought him home early in December in this beautiful urn,” shared. Her photo displayed a golden urn that read "CJ."
“Every morning I hold him close to me and wish that things were different," she shared. "That my heart wasn’t broken into a million pieces. That I just would have made it to the hospital a little sooner.”
She added, "Today, the snow has forced New York into a standstill. I’m imagining that this is CJ making it into the world in a different way. By giving all the families here a day to be together or play together in the snow. By giving us all a little rest. Rest easy, sweet CJ. We will miss you forever.”
Many spoke out with support, including former Bachelor star Catherine Giudici who commented, “Sending you love friend.”
Now, Ashley is sharing much brighter news.
"Plot twist🤰🏼" she penned on Instagram.
"As y’all all know, I just went through the IVF process and we had decided to freeze the embryos to give my body a little more time to rest. We planned on transferring in May but I should have known, as with many parts of my life - if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans," Ashley shared.
She went on:
It is still very early (6 weeks and 6 days) but if you watched my @oovalife chat on Monday - this is my reality and I don’t want to have to stay silent about it because of taboos or a fear of jinxing it. I’m scared and I’m nervous but I’m also overjoyed. I’d be lying if I said that I’m not constantly thinking of CJ but I have to think that he had a little part in this.
But it's clear that CJ is still in her thoughts. "The due date is December 9 but my MFMA told me in a previous meeting that she wanted me to deliver at 37 weeks," she shared. "That means this lil seed baby will arrive sometime between the days that my Dad and CJ died. It’s like they knew I needed something to get me through November ❤️"
We're sending best wishes to Ashley!
Cassie Randolph Breaks Silence On Colton Underwood Coming Out
Well, the news is out: former Bachelor star Colton Underwood has come out of the closet. Although the media blew up after Colton confirmed that he is gay, his fans weren't the only ones who were reacting to the news.
Now, Cassie Randolph is breaking her silence after the update, and sharing that she was not aware of Colton's sexuality.
In a "Good Morning America" interview that aired April 14, Colton revealed that he is gay.
"This year's been a lot for a lot of people and it's probably made a lot of people look at themselves in the year and figure out who they are," he shared. "I've ran from myself for a long time, I've hated myself for a long time. I'm gay. I came to terms with that earlier this year, and the next step in all of this was sort of letting people know. I'm the happiest and healthiest I've ever been in my life. That means the world to me."
"I've had sort of a range of responses and the underlying most common was 'I wish you would have told me sooner' and when I hear that I wish I would have had faith in my friends and family a little bit more," he shared in the interview. "The only reason I'm sitting down with you today is because I have the love and support of my friends and my family."
Now, Cassie is sharing her response.
“She was not made aware in advance that he was going to be on GMA doing a tell-all,” a source shared with
Us Magazine. “To be honest, she hasn’t really had time to navigate how she feels about it yet.”
Though Cassie may speak out publicly about Colton, it seems that she's processing in quiet right now.
As for Colt, he had to do some processing of his own.
“I couldn’t process it and I couldn’t put my finger on what it was until high school, my freshman year when I knew I was gay,” he shared. “By that time, I had already grown up in the Catholic Church, I had gone to Catholic grade school. I had learned in the Bible that [being] gay is a sin.”
