They weren't exactly setting a good example!
Many of the Teen Mom stars are constantly making headlines because of moving from one relationship to another. For Catelynn Lowell, she found one man and locked it down. In fact, she and her husband, Tyler Baltierra, have been together since they were in seventh grade, making them the longest-lasting couple in Teen Mom history.
But just because they might be the longest doesn’t mean that they don’t make mistakes; longtime fans know that Catelynn and Tyler have had their fair share of bad moments. There’s nothing wrong with some recreational drinking here and there, even if you are parents, but fans weren’t happy to see these two binge drinking in front of their two-year-old daughter.

Catelynn and Tyler are both known for being pretty wild when they want to be. This house party they had shows that they know how to party. However, lots of fans weren’t happy to see that they were binge drinking in front of their daughter.
These two went all out, throwing back multiple drinks and even funneling beers with their friends. In one video on Catelynn’s snap story, she funnels a beer with a friend while her daughter Novalee plays with her friend in a kiddie pool in the background. After the sun set, the party didn’t end… It maybe even stretched into the realm of the illegal.
Drinking and Driving?

Later, Tyler took to his snap story to share where the night went. He showed off videos and images of himself in the passenger seat of a car, cheering as he was completely intoxicated, flipping off the camera, and continuing to funnel even more beers. It seems that his friend who was driving may even have been drunk, as he called, “Why am I driving?!” It shouldn’t be surprising that this got fans alarmed, and they sounded off about it on Reddit.

User what_oh posted, “I’m really grossed out by the snap currently on his account that starts with a squinty eyed friend yelling, ‘why am I driving?!’ The dude is clearly shit faced and I can only assume Tyler is still sleeping last night off, or the video would be removed by now. Your co-star’s child had no father because of this type of nonsense, and at 25 you should know better, Tyler. :(“
User chrissycakes8726 agreed, “Theyve always been this way. Theyve never made smart choices. MTV just edited their story to make them seem like smart, responsible young people. Theyve never actually been smart and responsible. They are definitely their parents kids.”
Another user, logispock, thought that Catelynn and Tyler were the most “messed up” of the entire cast. They wrote, “C+T might be the most messed up couple on the show to me, which is saying a LOT. On the one hand they both had painful upbringings, and I really think they were manipulated by the adoption agency with Carly, and that they’ve stayed together this long because of their shared traumas and it’s just easier to lean on each other. On the other hand, grow the f**k up. You have another child that’s dependent on you (not to mention mental health issues etc) and you’re doing beer bongs and drunk driving like you’re still 16? Nova was a bandaid but she’s here now and it’s so unfair to her.
