Farrah is easily one of the most complex members of the Teen Mom cast. From her experience in the adult industry to her various business ventures to her knack for always saying exactly what’s on her mind, Farrah has gained a huge following throughout her time as in the spotlight. We figured out exactly what fans would want to most know about being Farrah Abraham, and she didn’t hold anything back!

Fans who have been following Teen Mom since its first few episodes will remember that the OG cast hit a speed bump midway through its run. When Amber Portwood was put in jail, the show got shut down, and was picked up again as Teen Mom OG some time later. However, it was missing one person; while Maci, Amber, and Catelynn had resigned, Farrah Abraham was left off the show.
A few episodes into the season, the producers discussed how much it seemed like something was missing. Even though Farrah’s venture into the adult industry with her sex tape was controversial, the producers and many of the fans agreed that the show simply wasn’t the same without Farrah. Of course, Farrah wasn’t thrilled that she’d been left off the show in the first place.
So we wanted to know: Why did you decide to re-sign with Teen Mom OG?
For Farrah, fans, and the positive presence Teen Mom has had in her life are reasons she decided to come back.
“I chose to sign on with MTV and Teen Mom again because it’s been such a value to our lives, how we view it as a positive.So I just kept doing it, and then it’s something from 16 to now, I love all my fans, the feedback, and the positive things. So it’s been great.”
Farrah’s Namesake

With a name like Farrah, it’s pretty easy to stand out. But most fans have wondered at one time or another where Debra and Michael got the idea for her name. We were wondering whether it had anything to do with a certain other famous Farrah: legendary actress Farrah Fawcett.
We asked: Are you named after Farrah Fawcett?
“Yes! She’s like a legend and my mom loved her, so she named me after her. I kind of did the same thing with Sophia, I named her after [actress and singer] Sophia Lauren. So just great iconic women, and that’s like a little tradition!”

There’s no question that Farrah has a huge amount of fans. It’s not hard to see. On basically all of her social media posts, there are always multiple people sending her praise and adoration. That said, Farrah’s been a controversial figure since her first day on 16 and Pregnant, so she also gets her fair share of hate.
We wanted to know: How do you handle the negative trolls?
“I think that’s just something when you put yourself out there in the public eye or you share your opinion, whether it’s politics, beauty, anything, it’s going to have scrutiny. So my personal life, you can say whatever. I’m living it. And whatever, I just don’t pay attention to those negative things.”
