Fans are convinced!
It’s no secret that many of the Teen Mom cast members have a history of drug addiction. Luckily, it seems that addiction is firmly in the past of many of the stars. Now, many have started to use their platform as a way to show fans that recovery is possible. However, it seems that one cast member may still be enduring the struggle.
It’s not clear exactly what’s going on in this star’s personal life, but there are many signs of drug addiction that are easy to pick up on — and during the most recent episode of Teen Mom OG, many fans believed they saw some serious red flags. Now, the star is stepping out to clear the air, but it’s only serving to make fans more suspicious.

Drug addiction is often something that can go unnoticed for years, but it is often experienced differently by reality stars — and it almost always gets out. Even though this Teen Mom star doesn’t get as much screen time as some of their fellow stars, it was enough for fans to become alarmed about her health.
During the most recent episode, Tyler helps his father Butch make the transition into rehab for his longtime drug addiction. As part of the process, he goes to his sister Amber’s home where his father lives. Amber reveals to Tyler that her power has been shut off, and the cast must navigate her home by candlelight.
It’s no secret that Butch has an ongoing battle with addiction, although his stay in rehab will hopefully find him clean. However, it was Amber’s behavior that had fans alarmed.

“So, on tonight’s Teen Mom OG ‘Unconfuse Your Brain’, were Tyler, Butch, and Catelynn implying that Ty’s sister Amber is doing drugs?!” wrote Reddit user whythehellnotbitches.
It turns out that this user was far from the only one who found Amber’s behavior alarming. “I didn’t notice them implying that. What I did notice was that Amber is on drugs,” wrote user i_want_your_skulls.
User candleandmeatloaf seemed completely convinced that this was the case. “You could tell that Tyler was so uncomfortable being in that house,” they wrote. “He was a different person, seeming to dodge the cameras and even speak lower, trying to hurry away and taking deep calming breaths. It was hard to watch, tbh, especially because you could tell that the sister and Butch were both high.”

Of course, fans were alarmed by more than just Amber’s appearance as Butch himself seemed to imply that she was struggling. He told Tyler he was reluctant to go to rehab because he was concerned about his grandchildren, saying that they were never properly fed and implying Amber couldn’t take care of them on her own.
Apparently, enough fans were concerned about this that Tyler picked up on it. He decided to speak out about the situation. He wrote:
“So for everyone commenting on my sister’s situation. 1) Remember my father is a drug addict who has mastered the art of manipulation. 2) The [electricity] bill was getting transferred from my dads name into hers & the power was out for literally 4 hours. 3) Her kids are fed & taken care of FYI.”
