Bye, who?
If you’ve been watching Teen Mom for a while, you know that the cast is often changed. Still, everyone develops their favorite mom, and it can be hard to watch them go when they finally decide to call it quits.
Season seven is just around the corner, and, just like usual, there are rumors that one or two of the mothers won’t be coming back. This isn’t uncommon; it seems to happen between every season or so. The reality is the moms can’t be on the show forever, and many of them have considered stepping down to focus on their family, raise their children, or just get away from the drama and stress of filming. Now, it looks like one star may truly be calling it quits for next season.

No Scenes

Even though often the rumors of quitting come from an offhanded comment that one of the Teen Mom cast members make, this one may be more grounded in reality. Wet Paint reveals that one of the cast members hasn’t filmed any scenes at all so far for season seven, so they could be completely off the map for upcoming episodes.
Debz OG

Wet Paint reveals that none other than the infamous Debz OG hasn’t filmed any scenes at all for the upcoming episodes of Teen Mom. Debra Danielsen is Farrah Abraham’s mother, and she has provided huge amounts of drama and interest in the show over the years. She’s helped Farrah raise her daughter, Sophia, and also given us a little bit of crazy, like her rap songs and music videos. So for longtime fans of the show, it’s clear that if Debra really isn’t coming back, it might shake things up on the show.
That said, fans who have been following Farrah’s career won’t have a hard time understanding why Debra might not be coming back. Her relationship with Farrah has been in an extremely tense place lately, and the two are extremely strained. A source told Wet Paint, “While Farrah’s relationship with Debra is in a healthier spot, things are definitely not in a mended place.”
Rising Tension

Last season, things ended on an all-time low note between Farrah and Debra. Even though tension had been building between the two for a long time, Debra’s relationship with her fiance, Dr. David Merz, was potentially what pushed them over the edge. Farrah and David got into a screaming match in the season finale while they were vacationing in Florida, which ended with Farrah flipping him off.
It was pretty obvious that things weren’t in a healthy place, but if there was any question left in anyone’s minds, it was gone when Farrah refused to take the stage with Debra during the reunion show. Debra shed tears over her relationship with Farrah and Sophia, which is falling apart.
Farrah revealed that she’s intentionally keeping things distant with her mother. In fact, her therapist has encouraged it. “Some people can’t be so important that they’re damaging to Sophia’s emotional development,” she said. “So if that is going to be an issue then I have to limit my time.”
Even though the relationship is one of the things that’s driving Farrah and Debra apart, Debra is moving forward full steam ahead with her bae, Dr. David. They’re continuing on with their wedding plans, and have set a date for November 5th in Omaha, Nebraska. Right now, it looks like Farrah won’t be standing in the wedding.
