The Teen Mom cast members have aired some of their worst moments for all of the world to see on MTV. They’ve even been filmed breaking the law on numerous occasions, whether it’s domestic violence or drug use. Even though they often get backlash from fans after their mistakes, it’s not too common that the footage MTV airs is used as evidence against them.
This Teen Mom star may not even have realized they were screwing up until it was too late. Now they’re facing the legal repercussions for their actions and being sued for their mistakes!

Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell had some major life changes this season of Teen Mom OG. Amid losing a pregnancy, the couple also decided to move into a bigger home for their family.
It was a difficult season for them in many ways, but now they’re in more hot water than expected. In fact, the couple’s significant debt has just been exposed. With this update, debt might be the last thing on their minds!

According to a report by Radar Online, Tyler Baltierra is now being sued for things that aired on Teen Mom OG!
According to the outlet, Tyler is being sued by Burtchville Township in a suit filed on Dec. 21, 2017. “After initially performing any work without permits, the Township discovered work was being performed and provided notice that permits must be obtained for the construction on the property,” the court papers read, according to Radar. “Mr. Baltierra, through his agent Catelynn Baltierra, did put a building permit application on or about March 27, 2017 claiming only work being done on the siding, front porch and gable gutters.” However, Tyler did not pay the $584 that was due for the application and permit.
The plaintiff is also suing Tyler on claims that he did more work on the home than the building permit application described.

“The property was displayed on an episode of the television show Teen Mom showing electrical [and] plumbing work,” the papers read. “The work was in violation of Township Ordinance for failure to obtain electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other permits so that the work could be done by appropriately licensed professionals and inspect by the Township.”
In addition to this, Tyler didn’t apply for the right system permits and the work he did on the property was not inspected. This lead the plaintiff to claim that Tyler and any residents living in the home are living in a space that is unfit for occupancy.
According to Radar, the plaintiff “asked the court to have Baltierra apply for all appropriate building permits, pay for the past permit, have inspectors inspect the home, order anyone living in the home to vacate, and pay the plaintiff proper relief.”
Tyler is expected to appear for a court hearing on May 29, 2018.
