Her family helped her retrieve the weapon, but Jade also wanted the police to be at the scene in case anything dangerous occurred. The officers told her she didn’t have the authority to remove him from his home, but she could have officers stand with her ex while she removed her belongings.
“I can’t make him give it back because it’s a civil issue,” the officer told her. “I can’t prove whose it is. It’s considered joint property.”
Eventually Jade’s ex allowed them inside the home, although he did not allow cameras to film. What viewers then heard was troubling.
“I’m shaking — I feel like I’m about to have a panic attack,” Jade can be heard saying. “I feel like I’m gonna pass out.”
Her mother then yelled “grab her!” at which point we can assume Jade was falling.
At this point, the police decided they would only give them five minutes to grab everything they needed, which broke Jade. Her main concern was her firearm which was still in her ex’s possession.
“I don’t understand — he’s punking me like a little b***h and abusing me,” Jade cried. “I don’t understand how someone can abuse me and take my s**t. He’s a f**king drug addict. They’re protecting a drug addict.”
