It's getting serious!
It doesn’t take long for some people’s lives to take a turn for the worse. Getting hit with one arrest and conviction is enough to shake up anyone’s life, but a repeated string of offenses can dig a deep hole that it’s extremely difficult to climb out of. Unfortunately for Chelsea Houska and Aubree Lind, Adam is finding out about this the hard way.
Adam began to struggle with drugs over recent years which turned out to be the beginning of a very dark patch in his life. Now, after numerous drug arrests and violations, Adam is again being charged. This time, he’s facing four counts of domestic assault.
Poor Aubree! Chelsea and Adam’s daughter has expressed her disappointment with how Adam is “sick” — likely on drugs — whenever she goes for visits, but now those visits might be few and far between. It looks like it may be an even longer time before she gets to spend much quality time with her father than we previously thought… you know, since he may find himself beyond bars long term.
Although Adam’s addiction has been a difficulty in his life for years, things began to get worse recently. His most recent ex girlfriend, Stasia Huber, filed a restraining order against him. In her filing, she revealed:
“While under the influence of drugs, alcohol and steroids, [Adam] fractured my forearm, locked me in the house saying I couldn’t leave, smashed my phone, and, once he realized what he had done, he broke down crying and took me to the ER. We broke up for a while after that.”
Adam was arrested on Nov. 2 with the Lincoln County Court, and now it has been revealed by Radar that Adam has been charged with four counts of domestic assault.
“He did attempt to cause bodily injury to another and had the actual ability to cause the injury,” the first count read. As for the second count, it was filed after the court found that Adam “did recklessly cause bodily injury to another.”
Adam was also charged with “attempting by physical menace or credible threat to put another in fear of imminent bodily harm, with or without the actual ability to harm the other person.” Finally, he was charged with intentionally causing body harm to someone that didn’t result in a serious injury.
According to Radar, Adam was released on a PR bond, meaning he won’t have to pay bail if he shows up to court for his next hearing.
It’s no surprise that this has resulted in Chelsea wanting to pull Aubree away from her father until his life stabilizes.
“She wants to cut back on Aubree going to Adam’s parents house,” an insider told Radar Online after Chelsea asked courts to reduce Adam’s visitation with Aubree. “She wants more of a regular grandparent visitation, not a visitation like the other parent where she has to go every other weekend. Maybe just once a month.”
All of this seems to be taking a toll on Adam, as Stasia revealed his suicidal thoughts in her court filing. “I love her and miss her so much,” Adam texted one of Stasia’s friends on Oct. 27 of this year. “I can’t take this life I just [want to] die.” A few days later on Nov. 2, he wrote, “I need to see her. Like I’m on verge of ending myself here.”
