Parting is always such sweet sorrow, especially when it’s with a long-time member of the Teen Mom cast. As the girls get older and their families get bigger, sometimes they have to step back to focus on their personal lives, or just to get away from the drama and pressure of being in the public eye.
This recent update makes it look like one of the long-time cast members might be wrapping up her last episodes soon.

Nothing lasts forever, and, as sad as it is, that applies to the cast of Teen Mom. The girls have been relatively open about how long they plan on staying with the show; even though some seem to want to stay on for as long as possible, others are already hinting at calling it quits. That includes more than just the main cast of girls. The stress of the lifestyle is catching up with Ryan Edwards’ new wife, Mackenzie Standifer.

If you’re wondering what led Mac to want to quit the show, it may be her recent experiences facing backlash on social media from some members of the Teen Mom fanbase. Mackenzie has always had her haters, but they’ve come out with a vengeance ever since she was caught on film letting Ryan drive while high out of his mind on Xanax… and then claiming that she didn’t know he used drugs until that moment.
Pair that with her implying Maci was at fault for Ryan’s drug use, and it was enough to feed the trolls, who have been relentless on her social media accounts for weeks.

Fans were alarmed when Mckenzie took to Instagram to make what may be a show-altering announcement. Without any kind of caption or explanation for her post, she simply posted a picture of a button that read: “I QUIT.”
She hasn’t updated her Instagram since, so fans are trying to figure out if this means that we’ve seen the last of Ryan’s new wife.
