Ryan just can't stay clean for anyone
As Maci Bookout’s life becomes increasingly mature and stable, her former boyfriend and baby daddy Ryan Edward’s life keeps falling downhill. He’s tried to become a happy, healthy adult, even getting engaged to a woman who was also a teenage mother, but evidence has come to light that proves Ryan is not ready for marriage. In fact, a serious in-patient rehab may be the best thing for him right now.
Maci has revealed that she’s been given new information about what’s really going on with Ryan, and it may force her to get full custody of her son Bentley.

Maci and her husband Taylor are loving their fun, peaceful life with their three kids. Taylor is a great step-father, but Maci’s oldest kid Bentley has to keep a relationship with his father Ryan Edwards, despite all of the problems he can cause.

Ryan Edwards had many issues adjusting to adulthood; he couldn’t keep a job, was living with his parents, and seemed to be jealous of Maci’s relationship with Taylor.
He may have been turning things around when he met his now-fiancée Mackenzie Standifer. He was happier and more stable, and Mackenzie was a great influence for Bentley.
But, a recent text from a mutual friend of Maci and Ryan’s says that’s not the case: Ryan is indulging in something “dangerous.”

Maci was frightened by what she learned about her baby daddy, but she remained fairly quiet about the details, saying, “The goal is to get him healthy and happy and back to normal. If I can’t do that, I at least have to try.”
Fans have accused Ryan of looking like he was on some kind of illegal drug before, and from what Maci said, it looks likely that drugs are the problem…
