Room for a Big Family
Since they make such a huge amount of money just for starring on Teen Mom alone, you can learn a lot about the cast members based on how they spend those massive paychecks. Many of the cast members have invested their earnings into side businesses, while others have used their wages for travel or simply for raising their children.
In many ways, Maci is seen as one of the most mature cast members. Considering her general stability in the face of how much difficulty she’s faced with her recovering addict ex, Ryan Edwards, it’s not surprising that when it comes to money, she puts her family and her children first.
Maci’s family grew significantly in the past year, and having a home that’s big enough to spread out is an important part of raising her children. Maci’s done just that with her purchase of this expensive (and expansive) five-bedroom family home.

Maci Bookout is now a mother of three! She had her first son, Bentley, with her ex Ryan Edwards years ago, but now she’s had two more (Jayde and Maverick) with her hubby Taylor McKinney! On top of her very sizable Teen Mom paychecks, she and Taylor also run a clothing company called “Things That Matter.” Now that Maci has settled down, she decided to find a home big enough for her family of five to spread out in. Now, she seems to have found the perfect fit.
Maci’s home in Ooltweah, Tennessee, set her back a pretty hefty $329,000. Considering that Taylor also makes some serious change for starring on Teen Mom, these stars probably had no real problem setting that much aside. According to Radar Online, Maci’s home sits on 1.8 acres of land and has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Her backyard features an in-ground swimming pool, and the house is complete with a two-door garage.
The decision came after they had their third child. They also wanted to expand so they would have room to run their clothing line. Maci said she knew as soon as she toured the house that she wanted to put an offer in on the property.
“Our house is exactly what we were looking for,” Maci told MTV News after the purchase. She went on,
“Luckily, we really didn’t have to compromise too much on our wants and needs. What we got was really what we were looking for. My hopes for our future in the house is just that we don’t grow out of it too fast, we continue to like it, or love it, as much as we do now. I have a tendency to get over things really quickly, so I’m hoping I stay content with it for a few years at least.”

In a recent episode of Teen Mom, Maci and Taylor realized the space was too small. “Our clothing line has been doing really well, but it’s hard juggling work and taking care of the kids from home,” Maci says. Taylor adds, “I think I’m going to look for office spaces. It’s getting too big. I think it’s time. We have to separate the house from work.”
With five bedrooms and a dedicated office space, Maci and Taylor should have plenty of room to spread out with their family and work. That said, Maci recently hinted at the idea of wanting to adopt more children, so she could want even more space soon!
