For the nearly ten years that their show has been on air, the Teen Mom cast members have shared every significant moment of their lives with fans and viewers. The good and the bad are captured on television, and fans have watched their favorite and least favorite stars at their happiest moments as well as their saddest.
Fans have watched Leah Messer change drastically over the past few years. In fact, her recent “glow up” has made her nearly unrecognizable! But that doesn’t mean that Leah is no longer struggling.
After sharing a scary family emergency with fans, Leah is finally giving an update about the outcome of the experience.

Leah Messer is clearly an animal lover. She’s raised her three daughters with adorable dogs, showing how pets can be a very important member of any family. Unfortunately, that means that when they are hurt, it can be devastating. She reached out to fans for support when she experienced just that.
“Say a prayer for my family!” she wrote on Twitter. “I didn’t sleep at all last [night]. We had to take Champ to the vet yesterday and he stayed overnight for surgery,” she explained, referring to her adorable boxer.
“We’re picking him back up today,” she went on. “Needless to say, yesterday was a sad day for us. We’re just so happy that he’s okay!”

Fans were quick to show support, and Leah shared more details about the situation. “I let him out to potty and literally within a matter of 5-10 minutes a coyote just attacked him outside of my house. It was traumatizing! I’ll never let him run off his walking leash again. Ever.”
She shared, “We actually get to go pick him up right now. I think I’m going to cry.”
Dry those tears, Leah! As it turns out, her adorable pup was just fine. She shared this cute snap of him in his own personal raincoat, writing, “He always give me that wtf face too! Just wait for it….” It seems like Champ is back to his adorable sassy self!

In the meantime, Leah is thankfully taking precautions against this ever happening again.
“I was up all night looking up things on the internet,” she shared. “I did see that a fence was an option. However, it said that coyotes could jump the fence too. So maybe a really really large fence. A lot of my property is wooded.” After getting input from fans, she wrote, “THANKSS SO MUCH EVERYONE!”
Right now, Leah has enough on her plate — but her ex husband and baby daddy may give her a run for her money! Jeremy Calvert has just had to head down to the courthouse to bail out his girlfriend after she got into trouble with the law!
