Sometimes it seems like Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin’s relationship came straight out of a soap opera. Even though they were married for two years, their relationship had some great highs and some horrible lows. Toward the end, things got even more extreme, and there’s one main reason behind all of the fights: cheating.
It was hard to know exactly what was going on as Javi and Kailyn’s relationship started to spiral. They both accused one another of cheating, and even though there never seemed to be proof, there was clearly something going on. But until now, Kailyn has insisted that she never cheated on Javi.
Now, she’s finally coming clean. Even though lately it seems Javi and Kailyn might get back together, they clearly have some dirt to work out. Now that Kailyn is spilling the truth about her cheating, their reunion might be off!

Teen Mom 2 is currently filming, but with Kailyn Lowry off the air, fans don’t get to see as much of her as usual. She decided to come to her fans in a different way by taking the reigns on her story with podcasts. Kail got together with reality star Lindsie Chrisley to launch a podcast called Coffee Convos where she’s been spilling her personal thoughts about life, relationships, and being a TV star. Even though it’s been a great way for her to put her side of the story out there, it may have just backfired on her with this recent confession.
Cheating can be the nail in the coffin of any relationship, no matter how strong it seems. Even though there were many factors that came between Kailyn and Javi Marroquin’s relationship, cheating was one of the main reasons they eventually filed for divorce. Even so, Kailyn never admitted that she had cheated… until now!
Confusing Timeline

Kailyn’s relationship with Javi can seem messy at times, but her relationship with Chris Lopez is even more confusing. On a recent episode of Coffee Convos, Kailyn paints a timeline where the two overlap in a pretty sketchy way.
“I met Chris in 2014 when I started going to college here in Delaware,” Kailyn told Lindsie and her thousands of listeners on the show. “We were friends for a long time, and when we got into a relationship, we kept it private. He was never on the show, never discussed it on the show, none of that.”
She went on, “So yes, I can see how it would be a surprise to everyone when I got pregnant. However, to me, I was with him a long time before I got pregnant, so I just wanted to clarify that.”
Kailyn defended herself, saying:
“I didn’t go into it saying ‘I’m going to have a child with him out of nowhere, and he’s not going to be a part of the kids life.’ [Chris Lopez] and I were together for two years. He didn’t film. I filed for divorce… Chris and I were together, and then we got pregnant. We were together for 2 full years. He didn’t want to be a part of the show. I see the shock factor. I understand why people were confused.”

Considering that Kailyn and Javi’s divorce was finalized two years ago, this seems to confirm that Kailyn was cheating on Javi for years. “This timeline doesn’t add up,” wrote reddit user benzarella. “Either she’s a f*cking liar and is severely exaggerating or else she was running around on Javi a lot longer than anyone ever knew.” User spicychicken14 wrote, “Sooo, she’s admitting to cheating on her marriage, long before her divorce. To make herself look better when everyone’s saying she must have starting dating Chris and got pregnant immediately.”
This has many fans looking at Javi’s behavior in a different light. Whereas Javi asking to see her text messages and know who she’s talking to toward the end of their marriage seemed controlling at the time, now it seems he had every right to be concerned. But many fans also point out that Kailyn and Chris don’t seem to have ever been dating.
