Kailyn Lowry Shows Off the New Family Member

When the cast of Teen Mom were still in high school, they were hit with some truly shocking news: they were about to be mothers. It’s probably safe to assume that none of their pregnancies were as surprising as their first, because starting a family so young is often a lot more difficult than expanding it as an adult.

That said, some of the cast members have still had some pretty shocking and unexpected pregnancies. The cast has shown us that unplanned pregnancies at any age can be life-altering, even if you do make a six figure reality star salary.

The cast members have all expanded their family through one means or another since their first appearance on 16 and Pregnant. Now, Kailyn Lowry is sharing that her family is getting bigger in a different type of way.

Kailyn Lowry wasn’t shy about admitting that her third pregnancy was not planned. After rumors swirled that she was pregnant with her third child, she confirmed the pregnancy but was silent on the baby daddy.

Of course, that moratorium didn’t last for very long. Soon, word got out that she was having the baby with Chris Lopez, a mystery man who refused to be filmed on television.

Kailyn’s family soon went from three to four, as she added her son Lux into the mix.

Since then, Kailyn has been on the fence about having another child. But she recently shared that she would like to have a daughter!

“I’m not engaged. I’m not engaged at all,” Kailyn Lowry said in an interview on the Domenick Nati show. “Not even a little bit, so yeah, no weddings for me anytime soon.”

But she was also quick to spill future prospects of walking down the aisle.

“I’d given it a lot of thought over the last probably several weeks. Like, if I was to get, like, married again, I don’t know that I would go legal with it. I think I would do like a commitment ceremony.”

Kailyn spilled on Twitter a few months ago that she’s excited at the idea of tying the knot, writing that she’s “ready to be a wife & be w my best friend forever.”
