All of these changes have surely brought questions to the mind of the rest of the Teen Mom cast. Many of them have put their time and energy into side hustles, potentially trying to make sure they’ll still have an income after the show ends.
And as we all know, Kailyn has been working hard to establish her businesses. From the debut of her haircare line Pothead to her successful podcast Coffee Convos, Kailyn seems to be working hard to diversify her portfolio. Unfortunately, one of her shows is up against some struggles.
Fans waiting to tune into the most recent episode of Coffee Convos came away disappointed after realizing that Kailyn and Lindsie hadn’t uploaded anything this week. The two girls remained ambiguous about the reasoning behind their absence, but now they’ve released an official statement.
“Due to circumstances beyond our control, we’re not able to record our show at this time. In the meantime, please stay tuned for exclusive content on our social media channels,” the statement posted on Lindsie and Kailyn’s instagrams as well as the Coffee Convos website read. This is after Kailyn and Lindsie hinted that there were “legal” issues preventing them from taking the show any further.
But an update from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup is clearing the air.
The Ashley uncovered online records that show that the owner of Wave Podcast Network, which is the network Coffee Convos is under, filed to get a trademark of the name Coffee Convos in February of 2019. That would give them legal rights to the name Coffee Convos…. Which would obviously prove to be a problem for Kailyn and Lindsie.
In November of 2019, “an opposition was filed against that company who filed that trademark,” The Ashley reports. The opposition was filed by Kail Lowry LLC, and took place right before Coffee Convos’ hiatus.
