For Lincoln's Sake
When Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin were together, it seemed like they had the makings of a perfect family. They did well as parents, and managed to work it out despite their hardships, always putting their son, Lincoln, first. For a while, it looked like they might be one of the longest-lasting Teen Mom relationships. Of course, we all know that it didn’t end like that.
They were divorced after years of marriage amid rumors of cheating from both ends. Although things never got truly ugly between them, it seemed pretty clear that they would never patch things up between them, and that they would be on the outs forever.
Then, things started looking up! Time might just heal all wounds. THe relationship eventually got better and, barring an occasional shade-throwing on Twitter, they seemed able to co-parent peacefully. Not an easy feat.
Now, it looks like Kailyn is truly turning a new leaf in their relationship. She’s said that she decided to put Lincoln first one more time and give Javi another chance.

Kailyn’s Protective Order

Even though Javi and Kailyn aren’t always on the best of terms, things reached an all time low when Kailyn took out a PFA, or Protection from Abuse protective order, against Javi. Kailyn complained in a scene, “Javi is calling me, ‘I’m coming now, I need to know why am I the last to know you’re pregnant.’ I was like, ‘You’re not coming here!’ I locked all my doors and sent the boys to their rooms. I don’t care who you’re dating; you don’t need to know who I’m dating.”
She went on to say that she was fearful of Javi. She said, “I’m afraid. People have no idea who Javi really is and I just kept my mouth shut.”
The Hollywood Gossip reports that, in an interview, Javi called the order “pathetic.” He said, “I signed a consent PFA, which means there’s no evidence of abuse. I just can’t contact her unless it’s in regards to Lincoln for a year. Her and the world know I would never threaten or put my hands on her. As a man, I have my proof and will get out of it.”

In this recent clip from MTV, though, Kailyn decides to give Javi another chance. She says, “I’m still angry with Javi, but Lincoln is starting soccer soon, and with the PFA in place, it’ll be hard for us to both be at his games. So I met with my Lawyer this morning.”
She calls Javi and says, “So I know we’ve been talking a little bit, but I just wanted to let you know that I dropped the PFA this morning.”
