She broke down!
Kailyn and Javi don’t always see eye-to-eye. In fact, they’ve spent a good portion of their co-parenting relationship all-out fighting, with Kailyn even going so far as to take out a PFA against her ex. Even though they’re not married any more and seem to be at odds with each other most of the time, it’s difficult to see anyone you once cared for in a seriously critical state.
No matter how Kailyn feels about Javi, seeing him on life support after getting injured in a car accident was enough to bring her to tears.

Life-Threatening Situation

It looks like most of the romance and partnership between Kailyn and Javi is gone. After Kailyn filed a PFA because Javi allegedly broke into her home, their relationship hit an all new low. Of course, they have a son together so, they’re stuck with each other for the foreseeable future in spite of their differences.
Kailyn has made it perfectly clear how she feels about Javi since they split. She’s not afraid to put him in his place when she thinks he’s done something wrong, which happens to be quite a lot lately. But when she saw him on life support, she broke down in tears.
Regret and Guilt

Marriage Boot Camp isn’t exactly known for having conventional practices, but their extreme measures can sometimes bring a relationship back to life. That’s what they attempted in this “pulling the plug” experience on a recent episode.
Kailyn had no idea what to expect when she walks into a room and sees her ex-husband and current co-parent in a hospital bed.
Dr. Vee explained to Kailyn that Javi has been in a serious accident, and he’s currently on life support.
Kailyn wasn’t even able to stand in the room for more than a few moments without tearing up. “This is f**ked up!” she shouts, leaving the room while crying. “This is f**ked up!”
“Seeing him on life support has brought up all these emotions and all these memories,” Dr. V said. “I bet there’s still some life in that relationship.”
Kailyn was asked to think of what she would say if Javi’s life were really about to end. “I care about you so much, and I never knocked you as a father, and I’ll make sure that our son is taken care of,” she said.
That’s when Dr. Vee pulled out a letter that Kailyn thought had long since been destroyed. In the letter, she told Javi that she wouldn’t want her sons to grow up to be like him. Kailyn couldn’t bring herself to read it. “I’m not reading this,” she said. “Even though I have said the things that I wrote in the letter a million times, it wasn’t appropriate in the time and place.”
Even Javi was surprised with the way that Kailyn reacted. “I didn’t think you were gonna cry. But I wanted to hear that you upset,” Javi said after the experience ended.
“These things could have been fixed,” Kailyn said of their relationship. “So I’m feeling regret, and I’m feeling guilt.”
