She got the boot!
Getting a job when you have a questionable history is difficult for everyone. We’ve all learned to clean up our social media profiles and sweep any potential skeletons into the closet before prospective employers can hunt them out. Unfortunately for Jenelle Evans, that’s not so easy, especially considering that all of her questionable history has been documented on 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom 2.
It seems like all of her history is coming back to bite her. Because of her past, Jenelle has recently been fired from a new position with the help of some particularly vengeful Twitter haters. After hearing about her history, her new employers have given her the boot!
It’s no secret that the Teen Mom cast members bring home some serious paychecks for their appearances on MTV. Even so, it’s not uncommon for them to partake in some side jobs to add to their cash flow.
Many of them have their own clothing lines — lingerie, in Farrah’s case — while others work with companies to promote their products for payment. Jenelle Evans recently landed a new product to promote that would have her racking in some serious money, until fans on Twitter caught wind of what was going on.
Jenelle partnered with meal service Blue Apron to be an advertiser for their products. After posting a few promotional videos on social media, there was something that didn’t sit right with fans — or, should we say, haters — of Jenelle.
“I will pass on Blue APron now that I know you support Jenelle Evans,” one user tweeted at the company. Another user wrote, “By @blueapron having Jenelle Evans as an advertiser for your company is a bad idea. She’s a drug addict who abuses her kids on TV. You just lost my business. Good job. I won’t be the only one. #blueapron #teenmom.”
One fan even found old tweets that Jenelle had posted in 2012, sharing them with the company. The tweets Jenelle posted read, “uhm at least my bf isn’t a f*gg that parties at gay clubs and likes transvestites, lmao want to see?” and “it’s not like I said kill the f*gs so chill out, f*g.”
Shut it down
It wasn’t long before Blue Apron responded to the accusations. “Thanks for reaching out. We will no longer be advertising with Jenelle,” they announced, effectively firing Jenelle. Apparently this is working out for them. One user replied, “I will restart my meal plan order because you listened and did the right thing.”
David Eason fired back on the drama from his new Twitter account. “All these Fake accounts talking about Jenelle and you really take it seriously? Now we see where your priorities are. Simple math- there are more followers than haters….”
He added, “Keep your cheep [sic] food.”
