Jenelle wasn't telling us the whole truth
Just when we thought that Jenelle Evans was finally becoming a stable, mature person, it comes out that she hasn’t stopped resorting to screams, threats, and violence to get what she wants. Jenelle was not given full custody of Jace at their last custody trial, but she will be able to spend a lot more time with the boy. We’ve been following the ongoing drama between Jenelle and her mother Barbara closely. Jenelle didn’t get custody of her oldest child during the May 24th court case, but she was granted much more visitation with him; he’ll be spending the entire summer with her.

Before that day, Jenelle was exhibiting some fierce behavior that may have helped the judge decide that Jenelle wasn’t ready to have custody of Jace.
In Los Angeles, during the filming of the Teen Mom 2 reunion in February, Jenelle took Jace and went to her hotel. While that seems normal, she was not legally allowed to do that.

Barbara wasn’t very willing to let Jenelle around Jace after that, fearing that she would kidnap him. Jenelle tried to get Jace in her car after she followed her mom and Jace to a restaurant on May 5th, taking a picture of Barbara with a glass of wine. Jenelle and David then followed Barbara and Jace to her car and claimed that she was too drunk to drive.
Barbara said, “I knew she was trying to set me up. The kids looked at her like ‘She’s out of her mind.’ How dare she do this to me? Her 64-year-old mother. She had the audacity to set me up.”
