It's getting ugly!
Fans that have watched Teen Mom 2 from the very beginning will remember a time when Jenelle, Leah, Kailyn and Chelsea were all as thick as thieves. Bonding over their unique experience of being celebrity moms, they chatted on social media, hung out at reunions, and even took vacations together. Oh, how times have changed.
These days, clear alliances have been formed among the cast. Jenelle has paired up with the newest cast member Briana while Chelsea, Leah and Kailyn have stuck together from day one. Now it looks like the two groups refuse to film with one another!
Between Jenelle’s diva demands and Chelsea, Leah, and Kailyn’s threats to quit, could this ugly feud spell the end of Teen Mom 2?
Odd Girl Out
In the past few months, Jenelle Evans has threatened to quit Teen Mom 2 more than a few times. Now that her husband David Eason has gotten booted off the show, it seems that even she doesn’t want to stick around much longer.
“Jenelle doesn’t even want to talk to her awful co-stars because she hates the way that they treat her,” a show insider dished to Radar Online in advance of the Teen Mom 2 reunion filming. “She is ready for the confrontations but is really dreading all of them ganging up on her.”
They added, “Jenelle wants nothing to do with [her co-stars.] She is so tired of the girls and their guys and even their parents being mean to her, and she is not afraid to call them out, but she doesn’t want to go to the reunion alone.”
Jenelle has one demand in particular that MTV won’t agree to. “Jenelle loves David. She supports him. She wants him to be at the reunion, but MTV has said absolutely not, no way,” the insider spilled. “She is trying to do everything she can to change their minds. She’s threatening not to show up, but she has to.”
But Jenelle is far from the only one who can’t stand her co-stars. In the Teen Mom 2 sneak peek for the season, Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, and Leah Messer made it very clear that they would prefer if Jenelle and Briana DeJesus were off the show — or they themselves would walk!
“So what do we do about Jenelle and Briana so that we don’t need to walk away from the show?” Kailyn demands of producer Morgan J. Freeman during the tense moment. Apparently, the feeling is mutual.
“So I’ve decided that me and @_BrianaDejesus should just have our own show,” she tweeted after the trailer release. “#ProblemSolved.” Fans had mixed opinions on the idea.
Reddit user corvus_angelus wrote, “I’d rather watch a show with Chelsea, Kail and Leah over one with Briana and Jenelle.” User phd_in_awesome agreed, “seriously this is a terrible idea for a show…just a lot of victim role playing. Maybe mildly entertaining when Jenelle and Bri inevitably turn on each other but that’s it.”
