While they were together, Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin were one of the fan-favorite couples on Teen Mom. As has often been the case with Teen Mom relationships, though, it didn’t take very long before things went south.
The once happy couple finalized their divorce earlier in late 2016, after four years of marriage. Since then, things have gotten increasingly hostile between them as more and more scandals have come to light. The situation peaked when Kailyn filed a PFA against her ex after a series of encounters that she deemed questionable.
Recently though, things seem to be mellowing out between the co-parents. After getting caught sharing a sweet kiss at the premiere party for Marriage Boot Camp, there’s no wonder that rumors of them getting back together began to flare up. Now Javi is sorting fact from fiction when it comes to his relationship with his ex-wife.

Most couples who go in for counseling on Marriage Boot Camp are trying to make their relationship work against all odds. However, Javi and Kailyn both insisted that they were simply trying to work on their relationship as co-parents. They said time and time again that they were not trying to get back together.
Even though they’ve gone through some rough patches over the past year, they seem to be in a much better place of late. In fact, they were caught sharing this kiss at the premiere party for the show!
For a while, it looked to fans like Kailyn and Javi might get back together. In the trailer for Marriage Boot Camp, Javi was in tears while he asked Kailyn “to try one last time.” Really, you blame us for thinking that this couple might work it out!
But after the rumors started up, Javi made it clear where he and Kailyn stood.
“I have love for her, but we’re not getting back together,” he told Radar Online. “If things were different and things didn’t play out the way they did, maybe we could’ve given it another shot. But too many things have happened to do that.”

Then again, Kail’s not the only person that Javi is rumored to be dating. The “Teen Dad” can’t stop being linked to other women! After he and Briana went on a getaway to Disney World together, the rumors that they are romantically involved were further fueled.
Even though many fans were excited about the prospect of “Javi-Ana,” Javi recently told Radar that he is “as single as a dollar bill.”
“No we’re not dating,” he said of Briana. “We talked about that and we said there is no rush. Long distance is already hard enough as it is. If we want to keep this friendship and get closer and get to know each other, there is no rush.”
That doesn’t mean he can’t see them winding up together in the future! “I’m quick to commit to someone,” he said. “But taking it slow, I like that. I see it happening, who knows. We talk every day, she’s busy with the two girls and I’m busy working out. We keep in touch.”
This time between relationships seems to be teaching Javi a lot. He explained:
“I’ve been learning a lot with these past relationships. Reflecting and realizing what I can do better and how I can approach that. It’s hard to meet girls in Delaware. You’re not going to meet a girl in Delaware. Everything has to be long distance, which I’m cool with. I’m enjoying myself.”
He told Radar that he’d tried to date on Tinder and Bumble, but they “weren’t for him.”
He added, “Maybe a pretty girl will slide in my DMs sometime!”
