The Teen Mom cast members all took their own paths in their lives post-pregnancy. Some of them settled down with their baby daddies or new boyfriends. Some launched fashion or cosmetics lines amid their own personal drama. Even though many of them settled down into a quiet, if not complicated life, one or two of them took more… unique routes.
Farrah Abraham is one of the most controversial Teen Mom cast members for one reason: her activity in the adult film industry. But now is Amber Portwood’s ex, Gary Shirley, going to join the ranks of Farrah with this new X-rated film?

While Teen Mom OG stopped production due to Amber Portwood’s incarceration, the cameras didn’t stop rolling for Farrah Abraham. Farrah took advantage of her reality show fame by landing a role (and a reportedly million-dollar paycheck) in a “leaked” sex tape with adult star James Deen. Of course, it didn’t go without making a stir in the Teen Mom community. In fact, when Teen Mom OG came back for filming, Maci Bookout threatened to quit if Farrah returned to the show because she didn’t want her family sharing a screen with someone who had dabbled in adult entertainment.
Since then, Farrah hasn’t toned down her engagement with the adult entertainment industry. In addition to having sex toys molded after her own anatomy, she’s starred in a solo adult cam show where she got off on camera for paying viewers! But her activity in the industry wasn’t without its controversy; in fact, Farrah recently announced that MTV fired her over her engagement with CamSoda. Despite this, it seems like Farrah might not be alone in her forays much longer! Has Farrah inspired one of her co-stars to try his hand at the adult entertainment industry?
Gary Shirley has a lot on his plate right now, considering the mother of his oldest child, Amber Portwood, has just announced that she is pregnant with another child. Is a new career path on his horizon as well?

Gary updated his Instagram with a shot of him in what appears to be a bedroom or hotel room. In the shot, he stands in the corner while a man sits on the bed with a camera. He captioned the picture, “My first porn scene let’s do this.”
Of course, knowing Gary, it’s safe to assume that this is a joke. With so much drama going on in the Teen Mom community right now, fans seemed relieved for some humor from one of the stars. “Hahaha pretty sure this is a low key joke about Farrah as well as him just being funny. You go Gary!” wrote user AlmostxAngel.
Trashbox1 wrote “hahaha gary has always been low key funny. His linkedin must go as follows: Teen Dad due to Saran Wrap, Seller of homebaked cookies, Slumlord of da block, Seller of homemade Condoms; Survived pre-gel Amber Portwood.”
But Gary’s joke hits a little closer to reality than many may realize! While Amber was still with Matt, he couple was in talks with Vivid Entertainment about releasing a sex tape of their own.
Although their breakup put a pin in the idea, Vivid has since stated, “We are always open to doing a movie with Amber, with or without Matt. Until then we wish her the best.”
