Farrah Abraham has been controversial since the day she first appeared on television screens. The young mother has made quite a journey over the years, but a lot of fans would argue that it hasn’t been a flattering one—which isn’t a dig at her appearance… It’s really a comment on her absolutely outrageous, ridiculous, sometimes hilarious, and often questionable behavior.

I feel like I have to put it first because it’s so obvious it’ll be on here, but I think everyone was shocked when Farrah’s sex tape dropped. I don’t know why we were shocked. I mean, it was totally, 100% on brand.
Then again, maybe the reason it was such a big deal was because of what happened after?

The video itself caused controversy, sure, but Farrah’s explanation of the tape and the circumstances surrounding its production and release was even more “WTF” than the fact that there was one.
It was discovered that Farrah had been completely making up her big, tragic story.

For a while, Abraham tried to sell the story that she had made what was simply a “private video” with a boyfriend that had been released without her consent.
In the end, her story was exposed as a fraud when Vivid Entertainment bigwig Steve Hirsch provided proof that Farrah had not only been paid for the video, but had quite strong opinions about what she wanted to do in it.
