It looks like there might be trouble in paradise when it comes to Jenelle and David’s relationship. The two seem to be on rocky waters, and — even though many couples survive difficult times — fans are concerned that the end might be near for the recently wed Easons! Now, fans are suspicious that there’s something sinister lurking beneath the surface for David and Jenelle.
Even though Jenelle posts a picture perfect life to her social media, it’s always possible that things aren’t what they seem. But when she shared this picture right after the divorce rumors, fans thought there was something suspicious about a seemingly idyllic shot.

It’s almost unheard of for couples to go through their entire marriage without having some tough times. Relationships aren’t always easy, and it takes dedication to work it out with someone you’re committed to. Unfortunately, not all relationships can make it through difficulties, and some fans are concerned that Jenelle and David’s explosive personalities might have them headed for a permanent split.
Jenelle and David tied the knot only a few months ago, but their relationship has been controversial from day one. Many fans — as well as Jenelle’s mother Barbara — find David to be controlling and think he alienates Jenelle from her loved ones. Of course, though, Jenelle and David have one important thing in common: they both have fiery tempers. According to one insider, a particularly explosive fight broke out after Jenelle’s spinoff about her ex-boyfriends, “The Ex-Files,” aired.
“Jenelle and David had a crazy jealous fight after the show aired,” the insider told Radar Online. “That was the night David changed his relationship status on Facebook to ‘complicated’. Both of them went insane after the show.”
It was around this time that David changed his relationship status from “married” to “it’s complicated,” and Jenelle changed hers from “married” to “in a relationship.” That’s when fans became convinced that the two were headed for divorce.
Fans of Jenelle and David’s new family were hopeful that they would work through any problems, and from these photos, it seems like they were. However, many fans aren’t buying it, and think there’s something more than meets the eye.

Many sent Jenelle well wishes on these photos, but many thought that there was something a little off about the shot. Could Jenelle be covering up what’s really going on?
“There is something fishy going on at the Land and we will see more details about it soon,” wrote Reddit user brittany16691, and many other fans agreed. User shelovesthem80sbby wrote, “They put on a crazy front for social media. I think they know we’ve seen a ton of their fights and how crazy shit gets. So they need to act like they have a perfect picnic life, on SM.”
Some even thought that Jenelle made up the entire divorce scandal just to get attention while Teen Mom 2 was on hiatus. “I’m convinced Jenelle is playing us at this point. Making up drama to keep us talking about her,” wrote user alainamazingbetech. User SSapplejack wrote, “Yeah I think Jenelle is a hot a** mess but she’s totally playing us with this one. It’s just a little tooooo perfect.”

Jenelle spoke to a Radar reporter about the rumors, and apparently wasn’t too happy. “If I have s*x with my husband, it’s my business,” she wrote. “If I go skydiving with my husband, it’s my business. If I want to sh*t on my husband’s hand, it’s all my business. I’d appreciate if you stop assuming sh*t and texting me about something ridiculous.” Then she added, somewhat cryptically, “Make an article if you see one of us file divorce papers.”
But she did go on to tweet a screen capture of the conversation — which could very well have been a way to stir the pot.
