Fans are coming after her!
Everyone has their own personal style of parenting, and becoming a mother at 16 often means that it’s a little harder to figure things out. Now that the girls are older, most of them have worked out the kinks in their parenting styled and sorted out out the best way to parent, but others are constantly being criticized for the way that they raise their children.
One Teen Mom whose name consistently comes up when it comes to parenting problems? Jenelle Evans. No matter what she does, fans are always throwing shade about the star’s choices. When she posted this snap of her boys, she probably didn’t think that it was going to have her fans up in arms about the way she was raising them.

Dangerous Waters

Jenelle Evans has gone through some serious life changes recently. From fighting for custody of her son to marrying her new husband David Eason, there’s no question why she needed some time to relax. She was doing precisely that when she posted this picture of David, Kaiser, Jace, and David’s daughter Maryssa all hanging out in a hot tub together.
They looked as happy as ever, but that doesn’t mean there was no danger involved. Fans began worrying because most experts agree that it’s dangerous for children of that age to be in a hot tub, as it can pose health risks.
According to the Red Cross, children younger than 5 should not spend time in a hot tub. This is because “children can’t cope physically with the heat, which may cause hypothermia and other harmful effects,” as Radar Online reports.
They also report that the CDC has outlined the potential risks of young children being in a hot tub: “Infants and toddlers should not use a hot tub at all due to the risk of overheating or dehydration. Drowning is the most serious hazard connected with any body of water, including hot tubs….Entanglement of hair in the suction fitting of a hot tub is another hazard that can result in drowning….A similar danger is getting caught by the strong suction of a drain.”

Instagram users sounded off about their concern for Jenelle’s kids.
“No kids need to or should be in a hot tub at such young ages. That’s why they have a bath tub which kids use.. a bath tub…” user daniellemarie1485 wrote. 1shaye agreed: “Kids are not supposed to go into hotuns until they are old enough to regulate their body temperatures. Which should be 6 and older.”
Others stood up for her, like vanessaroden who wrote, “Um I’m pretty sure her child is still alive so back the F off people. Like she said she set the temperature cooler.” User keiratynan added, “This amazed me seriously am amazing picture and people destroy it every picture something is wrong [Jenelle] ur amazing and they will always find fault keeps them busy keep being amazing!!”
Jenelle likely has other things on her mind: she recently celebrated her nuptials with her new husband David Eason. She took to Instagram to share this picture of her and Jace, writing, “I was extremely honored to be walked down the isle [sic] by this little man. He was happy for us, that’s all that mattered for my big day. None of my family attended my wedding and I do not care, this boy is who mattered in the end. Jace did a great job and was super excited for the wedding to start! #LittleMan #Wedding #EvansToEason.”
