Blindsided!
If you’re keeping up with the Teen Mom community at all, you know that Farrah Abraham had a pretty big night on Wednesday. Although she’s already ventured into the adult industry, it was her first time ever appearing on a cam show. She made her cam debut with CamSoda, where she gave viewers an up-close and personal view of her recently renovated anatomy.
But behind every adult video star, there are parents who may be… well, a little confused. And, despite her fame Farrah is no different. Lucky for us, her mother has some celebrity of her own, and used it to let fans know that she was “speechless” after she heard about Farrah’s cam debut.

Farrah has ventured into the adult world before, but this was her first time doing a cam show (and don’t worry: if you missed the show and want the scoop, Teen Mom Talk Now has all of the pictures). Anyway… What’s done is done.
Now fans are left wondering how this will affect Farrah’s relationship with her mother. When it comes to Teen Mom cast members having healthy relationships with their parents, Farrah and her mother, Debra “Debz OG” Danielsen might not make the cut. The two have had their fair share of problems, which run so deep that even Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition couldn’t fix them. Most recently, Farrah has expressed her disapproval of Debra’s decision to marry Dr. David Merz.
Given their estrangement and the nature of Farrah’s show on Wednesday night, it’s no surprise that Farrah didn’t call up her Mother the night before to let her know what she was planning. Still, Debra didn’t seem too happy to have to hear about Farrah’s cam debut through the grapevine. She opened up to Radar Online about how blindsided she was about the update.
“I had no clue about it,” she said. “I’m speechless.”

She added that, to her knowledge, Farrah was going to call it quits on her work in adult industry. “I know my daughter has been trying to change her image. She’s been doing professional things.” To be fair, even Farrah claimed she was done with the industry. Before her cam show, she told In Touch that she has “NO new sex tape coming out and [doesn’t] plan to.” She added, “Been there, done that.”
However, it looks like this won’t be the straw that breaks the camels back when it comes to Farrah and Debra’s relationship — at least, not according to Debra. She told Radar it would take more than this to make her leave Sophia and Farrah.
“They’re my world, I really feel everyone has things in their life they have to deal with,” she said. “My goal is to be close with my family and to love them. I want them to help me and I want to help them.”
Debra isn’t the only one reacting to Farrah’s cam debut. Of course, her ex Simon is going to get in on the action, too. He took to Twitter to troll the mother and daughter duo. He wrote, “Apparently Deborah is also making a cam show in response to Farrahs. From rap battles to cam battles! Get it Debz!” He continued, “Look ma! I can shove a baseball up my butt!
“Debz: yeah well I can shove Davids head in mine! watch this!”
