David Behind Bars?
Fans were thrilled to hear that Jenelle Evans got engaged to her longtime beau David Eason. They were happy to see that she had found someone to bring some stability into her life, especially considering the track record of her other baby daddies, who weren’t exactly the best influences. But the truth is… David has a track record of his own, and now his history is coming back to bite him.
David can’t escape his past, and after a recent protective order violation, he’s found himself facing more time in the slammer. The timing couldn’t be worse, considering their swiftly approaching wedding date. This recent update actually might mean that their wedding day will have to be bumped.
Court Order Violation
Jenelle Evans seems to always manage to find men who have criminal records. From Courtland to Nathan, many of the men in her life have histories of violence and drug use. David Eason is no different. In fact, David Eason and Courtland Rogers shared a jail cell when they were both serving time.
According to Radar Online, David found himself facing his criminal history yet again. When he happened to be in the same grocery store with his son that he had with an ex girlfriend, he couldn’t hold back giving the child a hug. However, this was in direct violation of a protective order that his ex had against him.
The arrest warrant says that David’s son’s grandmother and aunt were “frightened” when David “grabbed” his son, even after he was told to move away. “Defendant was in the same location as his child, who was out with his grandmother and aunt when defendant approached and hugged [his child],” the warrant stated.
His attorney didn’t seem concerned about the outcome, even though a judge sentenced David to 60 days in prison. He told Radar, “I’m confident he will be vindicated in court after a jury hears the facts.”
Unfortunately, now it looks like it may be even longer before the results of the trial. According to Radar, David’s trial date is still pending and has not even been scheduled by the court. Now fans are concerned about how this will impact Jenelle and David’s wedding.
Reddit user twomangocats writes, “I hope he doesn’t fall under Jenelle’s lucky court star and has some actual consequences for his actions. Fingers crossed!”
Other fans are curious how Jenelle will react. User justoneofmattskids wrote, “Omg dude I can hear Jenelle now. ‘Dude, I’m so aggravated! I told the judge that was our wedding day, but he didn’t listen!! Omg dude! I just wanna be happy! I have nooooo oooooone (sobsobsob)’”
Others were hoping for the drama, with user MaterProtagonist writing, “Does anyone else want him to go to jail for the full 60 days only to see how Jenelle handles it? I wonder if Kieffer will make an appearance. She honestly isn’t able to be alone.”
Jenelle and David’s wedding is currently scheduled for September, meaning that if his trial gets pushed back and he does receive the 60 day sentence, they may have to reschedule. That is unless they want to share their wedding vows between prison bars.
