Serious accusations!
One of the most difficult truths of the Teen Mom cast is that many of them are no strangers to domestic violence. Whether they’ve been victims, perpetrators, or affected by it through exes or loved ones, domestic violence has been a somewhat recurring theme on Teen Mom over the years.
Jenelle Evans’s new husband, David Eason, has a history of such violence. In fact, he was recently facing jail time after violating a domestic violence protective order placed on him by another baby mama: the mother of his son Kaden. Now, some fans are accusing him of being violent with Jenelle, and, of course, Jenelle did her best to shut it down.

When you’re a reality star, there are going to be some not-so-substantiated rumors about you floating around. Some people may even take this to the next level by Photoshopping things to spread the scandalous stories!
It’s not clear if that’s exactly what happened here, but that’s what Jenelle is claiming! She took to Twitter with the accusation, writing, “Stop photoshopping pictures saying my husband is abusing me. Thanks!” She posted images of her with red marks on her arm that looked to show signs of someone holding her arm and squeezing it tight, leaving fingerprint marks.
Jenelle claims that someone photoshopped the images to make it appear that she had been abused, but fans were mixed on where the truth was. Reddit user cuppitycake wrote, “I don’t think it’s photoshopped. I’ve had marks on my arm that look exactly like that from my bf holding me as we slept. He didn’t hurt me or anything. Some people just have sensitive skin when there’s pressure put on it.”
User Cantadulttoday agreed:
“That’s my thought as well, but the fact that she jumped to Photoshop as an unnecessary defense… Sort of makes it seem like she’s trying to hide something, maybe he grabbed her arm roughly, etc. IDK. I normally wouldn’t think anything of it, but instead of saying something normal, as you did, she jumps to crazy… she could’ve even said, ‘I had my arms crossed, I DID IT’ but nah, defensive lala land mode. She’s a weird one. Watch her use this same pic in a few months as proof that David abused her.”

Others were convinced by Jenelle’s words and believed that someone had Photoshopped the image. “I went and looked at the photos on her Twitter. Her arm is fine in those photos and this one does look (badly) photoshopped to me. If the marks were real wouldn’t her skin be red where she was grabbed?” wrote user TdubLakeO.
“I have to agree. It’s photoshopped as f*ck. It looks like someone took the smudge or blur tool and swiped it across her arm 4 times. This was during the custody trial. It was hot and she’s fair, so her skin was turning red and blotchy,” agreed user nathansponytail.
“Wow, if someone really did photoshop her picture to make people think David beat her, that is honestly so crazy and I almost kind of feel bad for them,” pointed out user justoneofmattskids.
By now, some fans don’t seem willing to take anything Jenelle says as truth. “Jenelle is a liar. She doesn’t experience reality the way we do. And most victims make insane excuses for their abusers – not that I don’t think she’s equally physically volatile,” wrote user 221bBaker1.
