Is Chris coming for Lux?
When you have a child with someone, that person is going to be in your life for the foreseeable future whether you like it or not. No matter how much the Teen Mom cast members have wanted to cut exes out of their lives, it’s important for them to have a relationship with their children’s fathers.
For Kailyn Lowry, it seemed like this wouldn’t be a problem for her third child. Although there were murmurs of feuds and custody battles between her and Chris Lopez, her third baby daddy soon dropped out of the picture altogether. It looked like Kailyn would be free to raise Lux however she wanted.
That is, until now. According to Chris, it looks like he might be gearing up to make an attempt to get custody of Lux from Kailyn, and the timing couldn’t be worse for Kail. Considering she’s just opened up about spending Christmas without Isaac and Lincoln, could she be facing a the holidays without any of her children?

It’s hard to get a sense of Chris Lopez as a person, considering the fact that he has continuously refused to film for Teen Mom 2. The only insight fans have about Kailyn’s third baby daddy is what the star herself says on the show and what Chris puts out on his social media. Although Chris seemed to be eager to step up as a father, things between him and Kailyn quickly soured. Soon, he began blasting her on social media starting an all out parental feud! Soon after their public battle began, Chris virtually fell off the face of the Earth… until now.
After Kailyn filed to legally change Lux’s name from Lopez to Lowry, it seemed that custody battles were a thing of the past. Think again! It looks like Chris might be coming back for his son.
Because Chris hasn’t had a presence on the show, all of his social media posts are analyzed by fans. That’s why many believed that when he tweeted for the first time in a month, there was more to his words than meets the eye. He simply wrote, “The wait almost over.”

Reddit user wadamelin pointed out that “Kail also tweeted saying ‘one month ago’ and back in October chris tweeted saying something along the lines of ‘can’t wait until November 2nd’ so I’m assuming they went to court [for custody of Lux] but idk.”
“Something to do with Lux most likely. Or some other kind of drama is gonna be exposed,” user brittany16681 theorized.
If Chris manages to secure custody of his son, mother-of-three Kailyn could be facing a Christmas entirely alone. She recently told Radar Online that Isaac and Lincoln will both be away for Christmas. “I had the kids for Thanksgiving so they’ll be with their dads for Christmas,” she revealed.
At the time, she was confident she would certainly have her youngest. “I’ll have Lux,” she said. “I always have Lux.”
If Lux’s custody agreement comes back on the table, it will be the result of ongoing legal action Chris began to take back in August. “He won’t acknowledge paternity so she can’t file for child support,” someone close with Kailyn told Radar Online. “They gave a form in the hospital, but he didn’t sign it.”
“Her lawyer drew something up and they are going through the court because he doesn’t have rights to Lux without signing,” the source added. “He’s not seeing the baby right now for those reasons.”
At least if Kailyn doesn’t have her three sons, she’ll have her new girlfriend Dom!
