Wrong Priorities?
During Kailyn’s pregnancy, Chris Lopez was absolutely nowhere to be seen. Even though fans wanted nothing more than to hear from him, he was completely quiet during the entire nine months. That’s precisely why, when he did show up for the delivery of Baby Lo, fans were absolutely shocked. Prior to his coming to the delivery room, much of the fanbase was convinced that Chris was going to stay off of the Teen Mom radar for the rest of time.
Now, Chris is surprising everyone by how involved he is in Baby Lo’s life. Is all of that coming to an end though? Chris’s recent cryptic tweet has fans worried that he’s forgotten his priorities and is putting other things before his fatherhood.

Eleventh Hour

Chris Lopez swooped in at the eleventh hour when it comes to fatherhood. Even though he was essentially nowhere to be seen during Kailyn’s pregnancy, he apparently had a change of heart at the last minute and showed up at the hospital for the delivery. It seemed that he decided he wanted a role in Baby Lo’s childhood after all, as he even went to Kailyn’s home after to help her get settled with her third child.
Even so, fans still don’t really understand why Chris has been so secretive. He didn’t do any filming with Kailyn in earlier parts of the season, even after the fact that he was her baby daddy was revealed. Kailyn implied that he may have wanted to keep their relationship under wraps so that other women in his life didn’t find out, but getting a Teen Mom star pregnant isn’t exactly the best way to keep a low profile.

Since Baby Lo came, though, Chris has really stepped it up more than most people expected. A source told Hollywood Life that Kail and Chris are spending more time together than ever. They said, “Kailyn and Chris have been spending more time together since the baby’s birth, trying to make the whole difficult situation work. He is doing his best to be a good father and to treat Kailyn better. Chris loves their little baby and wants to make sure he has a healthy relationship with Kailyn.”
They source went on, “They are both a bit overwhelmed with the new baby and have not been getting enough sleep. But he is there and doing what he feels is the right thing. Kailyn is happy that he is present and helping with diapers and late night feedings, so all is well with them… for now at least.”
But now that school is starting up for Chris, it seems like his priorities might be in the wrong place. “One semester left… no time for distractions,” he tweeted a few days ago. Kailyn’s fans blew up his replies. One even tagged Kailyn, saying, “he was no time for distractions sounds like you found a dead beat who dont want to be a father [KARMA] COMING TO YOU!”
It seems that Chris wanted a role in Baby Lo’s life, but now fans are concerned that he doesn’t have his priorities straight.
