Not Invited!
We hear wedding bells! Jenelle’s wedding is now less than a month away and we couldn’t be more excited for her. Although this is an exciting time for Jenelle and David, it also means a lot of wedding decisions and planning. We’ve already learned about Jenelle’s dress and her wedding invitations, but now her guest list is becoming more clear.
For long-time fans of Jenelle, it shouldn’t be surprising that she’s not on great terms with her mother, Barbara. The two have fought for years as Jenelle has struggled to regain custody of her son. But it’s still shocking to some that Jenelle’s wedding list overlooks some key members of her immediate family.

Wedding Planning

It’s less than a month from Jenelle and David’s big day, so it’s no surprise that they continue to announce more and more updates about their wedding plans. Recently, Jenelle and David took the kids to get fitted for their wedding outfits and Jace and Maryssa were looking adorable in their suit and flower girl dress. Jenelle herself has picked out her dress and gotten it from the store and we’ve even got a glance into what the invitations look like.
“She bought it from a boutique in New York,” a source told Radar about Jenelle’s dress. “The dress is made of a thick lace material. It’s white, full-length and fitted.” Jenelle has also shared with us what their wedding song will be! She tweeted, “If you’re wondering about our wedding song, we chose a [Sam Hunt] song. Can’t believe our first dance will be to country!”
However, as the date grows closer, it’s also being revealed who Jenelle is planning on inviting… and a significant name missing from the list is Jenelle’s own mother. An insider close to Jenelle told Radar that “[Jenelle’s] mother wasn’t invited to the wedding.”
Off the List

The omission of Babs from the guest list shouldn’t come a surprise for fans who have been following Jenelle’s relationship with her mother over the years. Although the two have been fighting for a while now, Barbara made her loyalties and feelings about her daughter very clear when she threw a party for Jace’s 8th birthday and didn’t invite Jenelle.
It wasn’t long before Jenelle retaliated by slamming her, telling Radar Online :”She’s mad I didn’t invite her to the wedding I guess so she said she was doing her own birthday with Jace.”
As for Barbara, it might not come as a surprise that she isn’t invited to the wedding. Recently, she opened up to Us about her relationship with Jenelle, saying that their it is “very, very strained right now, as it usually is. [Jenelle] hates me.”
Jenelle also opted not to invite David’s sister Jessica, who has been feuding with the couple for months.
Despite Barbara being off the invite list, they’ll still have a pretty large wedding. Jenelle and David both have children of their own: Jenelle is mother to Jace, and Kaiser, David has a daughter and son from previous relationships, and, (of course) they have baby Ensley together. Jenelle has made it very clear wants to involve the children in her wedding, telling In Touch Weekly, “While reading our vows I would like the girls to be part of the bridesmaids and the boys to be part of the groomsmen.”
It’s possible Jenelle will change her mind about inviting Barbara, but right now, it doesn’t seem so likely.
