In this season of Teen Mom OG, Amber Portwood’s storyline is moving quickly enough to give anyone whiplash. It was only the beginning of this season that she broke up with Matt Baier, and now she’s pregnant with her new boyfriend, Andrew Glennon. It can be hard to keep up with, but what’s even more difficult is making sense of her rapidly-moving timeline.
After months of speculation, Amber has finally revealed the due date of her second child. This is answering a lot of questions, but it’s raising even more. Now that fans know when she’s due, they’re doing the math to figure out when she got pregnant… and who got her pregnant!

Baby’s Coming!

Amber Portwood has been posting adorable pictures of her growing baby bump and other updates about her pregnancy… but one update in particular has fans more riled up. After many pointed out how confusing the timeline of her pregnancy is, Amber has finally revealed her due date. That means she’s also indirectly confirmed around which time she got pregnant in the first place.

“Bomb’s Away!” read Andrew Glennon’s announcement, captioning a picture of a pink horse on a rainbow rocket. “Little James’ due date: MAY 13th, Mother’s Day! One day before Amber’s actual birthday. She was born on Mother’s day 1990. The stars really aligned on this one.”
If Amber’s due date is May 13, that means Amber conceived sometime in August (about nine months earlier), likely around the middle or end of the month.
Figuring out the date of conception isn’t a big deal for most mothers-to-be, but for Amber Portwood, it adds to some not-so-pretty rumors about her baby daddy, and how quickly they found out they were expecting.
Amber and Matt checked into Marriage Boot Camp for filming to work on their relationship on June 16. It wasn’t until the first week of July that it was reported they broke up.
If one counts back precisely nine months from Amber’s due date, it means she conceived around August 13. That was only two days after Teen Mom Talk Now revealed that Amber was dating a new man.

Fans were alarmed at how quickly Amber became pregnant after meeting Andrew. “Yeah they got together early August, so they really didn’t mess around,” wrote Reddit user pizza_elf, even theorizing, “Like Amber purposefully didn’t take birth control with this guy literally from the moment they met obviously. Crazy.”
User Madison_Bumgarner pointed out, “My God, they’re having their kid before they’ve even KNOWN each other for a year!” They added, “This will definitely last guys. This child is going to go through exactly what Leah did, only Gary actually stepped up. I don’t think Malibu Andrew will. I’m worried for James.”
