It's about to get real!
There are perks of being a reality television star, but the generous paychecks and popularity come with their downsides as well. As we’ve seen over the years, being a Teen Mom star also comes with getting a huge amount of backlash from fans. Even though some cast members can handle this with no problem, it clearly starts to weigh on other members of the cast, including Amber Portwood.
Amber has picked her fair share of fights with fans over social media in the past, but now we’re seeing the other side of things. She’s opening up about all of the negative attention she’s getting from fans accusing her of being a deadbeat mom and totally absent from her daughter’s life.

Amber Portwood’s decisions haven’t always been popular, and sometimes her actions get her into seriously hot water. In fact, the more explosive actions she has had in her past have even resulted in her serving time behind bars!
Even though she’s been slammed for drug use and domestic violence, the one thing Amber is attacked for most often is her relationship with her daughter, Leah. According to fans, she hasn’t stepped up enough. In fact, she recently went on a lengthy rant when she was called out for not being present in Leah’s life.
“To shame a mother for keeping a child happy and safe from [their] own depression is disturbing!” she blasted on Twitter. “And to think I have to explain myself for a horrible point in life is even more degrading!” She went on,
“I’m sick and tired of these comments about my daughter! Leah is my world and SHE knows it! That’s what matters! People go through horrible times when they split and I’m no exception! I was depressed and horribly sad so I did the best thing and made sure my daughter was protected!”
“Disgusting!”

Now, Amber is spilling more details about her experience on Teen Mom OG.
“I notice you’ve been really upset about what everyone’s saying on Twitter,” a Teen Mom OG producer, David, said to Amber in this sneak peek.
“I’m nice to people who I love,” Amber said. “But I’m not going to get bashed for being absent because I’m [filming Marriage Boot camp] for three weeks during her f*cking summer break or getting depressed ‘cause I broke up with some loser.” She added, “You shouldn’t be bashed for that sh*t!”
“Some of this stuff is just disgusting,” Amber’s new boyfriend and baby daddy Andrew agreed. “Very dark and twisted. Really, some gross stuff.”
